Hello,I am JG1Hotlead. For eight years now, I’ve been soaring above no-man’s land in the virtual skies of Rise of Flight. In Rise of Flight, I’ve found immersion that no other flight simulation I’ve flown offers. Featuring a wide FOV and 6DoF tracking technology, the TrackIR adds depth to the PC gaming experience and pulls you further into the game. The search found and installed the right driver for me, don't ask me where it was it just found it. I've got a feeling that the install package 'might' be putting the drivers in another folder in Win10. Anyway, I'm up and running, good luck if you have similar problems. This is what I did:
Natural Point Driver
1- Downloaded and installed the x64 drivers from your site.Naturalpoint Trackir 5 Driver
2- Downloaded and installed the TrackIR 5.4.2 software3- Plugged my TrackIR camera into my computer's USB port.
Note: After connecting it, I don't see any light on the camera, is this normal?, because I don't see any external damage on it, and it came in it's package sealed. I would like to identify whetter my camera arrived broken or internally damaged.
4- After plugging it, windows said that it couldn't install the driver.
5- So I went into my 'Device Manager' and found it's marked as 'Unknown Device'.
6- Went into 'Properties' -> 'Update Driver...' -> 'Browse my computer for driver software', then pointed it to:
'C:Program Files (x86)NaturalPointUSB Drivers x64npusbio_x64'
And hit next....
7- Windows said: 'Windows was unable to install your Unknown Device'
Also, I tried to launch the 'TrackIR 5.4.2' software and it said also 'No device detected'.
I would appreciate any help.
